We visited Campsie Karting on 16 August for the Arrive and Drive offer. We were a small group but were treated fantastically from we arrived until we left. The manager took the time to give us a bit of background on the track and our spectators were also offered tea/coffee.

I am a semi-regular at karting and so have visited most indoor facilities in NI but this place without a doubt has the best track layout – a brilliant mix of high speed corners and a tricky chicane complex.

I would have no problem in recommending Campsie Karting and I’ll definitely be back.

This karting venue is pretty new, the karts are all good a nippy, the track is good (not that many overtaking opportunities for those without skill) and fast. A couple of incidents on two wheels cooled my jets for a while but then back to the race. I took part in the 30 minute challange race, there are other options as well. At the end we didn’t get a printout of our results, there was a problem in that area but we were able to digest the results on the laptop.

The track is quite good and all indoors but it can get really boring after a while as it’s not the longest .
The boys enjoyed it the most and got quite competitive and the man showing us around and telling us the rules etc was a gentleman he was lovely !

We each got a print out of our times for every lap and showed everyone’s places First, Second…. and got a photo together that went on Facebook which was a nice thing to do.

Overall I personally won’t be back as I didn’t enjoy it that much but the boys absolutely loved it .
Perhaps they should do some deals for groups coming down during the week ?

Eamon and his staff make sure u have an enjoyable visit from the time u arrive ! The karts are excellent and it doesnt take long to get the hang of things .. We have raced the 30 min session for the fastest lap and tried the Iron man challenge when thers a crowd of us . I havnt won yet , lol, but il definitely be back to try !

If your in the North West , definitely go for a few laps :-)
